The whole of the legal rules regulating all these relations, which arise in various ways as personal and financial relations between spouses or between parents and children, and which we can briefly call family relations, constitute 'family law'.
Within this framework;
The birth of the concept of family in the narrow sense, the birth of a human being through marital union, has determined the starting point of family law. Thus, in terms of how the marriage will be established, the preparation of the property regime agreements to be applied between the spouses before the marriage or the issue of which provisions will be subject to the continuation of the marriage union and how it will end; both the lawsuits to be filed in order to compensate the material and moral damages arising from the breakdown of the engagement before marriage, as well as the contested or contentious divorce cases at the end of the marriage union, appear as the first problems that family law deals with.
On the other hand, whether a person is born in marriage or out of wedlock, his/her relationship with his/her parents and other relatives established at birth and the provisions related to this relationship constitute the second group of problems that family law deals with (e.g. establishment of paternity between the child born out of wedlock and the father, denial of paternity, cases for the protection of children's property, etc.).
In addition to all these, family law also regulates the functioning of the guardianship organization under the control of the state for the benefit of minors or adolescents in need of protection who are deprived of the protection of a family order. (Guardianship, adoption legal procedures, etc.)
In addition to the issues we have tried to briefly express, we also support our clients in order to provide the best service on other issues considered related to family law, such as the entry of the family residence annotation into the land registry, the recognition and enforcement of divorce decisions taken by Turkish citizens living abroad from foreign courts, etc.
